The Annual Deans’ & Directors’ Retreat, ASPHER’s main event of the year will be taking place these days, 23-24 of May, hosted by the University of Maastricht. Over 40 schools will be represented at this year's retreat, from nearly 30 countries; plus representatives from EUPHA, UEMS, EFN, IUHPE, UK FPH, WFPHA, APACPH, ECDC, European Commission and WHO Europe. This will therefore be a great opportunity for networking between representatives of ASPHER member schools and representatives of other key organizations.

We are looking forward to lots of exciting happenings in Maastricht!

The Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER) is the key independent European organisation dedicated to strengthening the role of public health by improving education and training of public health professionals for both practice and research.

Founded in 1966, ASPHER has over 90 institutional members located throughout the Member States of the European Union (EU), Council of Europe (CE) and European Region of WHO. It is represented in 41 European countries, with more than 5000 academics employed in its member institutions.
